When you open an account you are given a bank card that you can use at the ATM in order to get money out of your account or to put money in as well. Many of these types of card can be used as a credit card. This means that you can charge purchases with it as if you had a regular card. It can be used at a store and even online to be able to buy things the only difference is that the money comes out of your account so there are no payments.
